This leg of the journey was from Edmonton, Alberta to Fort Nelson, British Columbia
Highlights
We arrived in Dawson Creek, British Columbia in mid afternoon. Dawson Creek is the starting point, or mile 0, of the Alaskan Highway. The highway ends 1,387 miles later in Delta Junction, Alaska.
Construction of the highway began in the Spring 1942 at the height of World War II. It was completed 9 months later.
The highway has been rerouted and improved over the years. The highway that was once known for being a rough, challenging drive is now entirely paved.
The highway opened to the public in 1948.
Lunch today was at Tim Hortons. Tim Hortons serves coffee, doughnuts, and other fast food items. I had a chicken and bacon wrap followed by a maple iced donut for dessert. Yum!
Conversational Question of the Day:
What are your favorite rom-com movies? Your favorite musicals? What movie do you like to re-watch?
Mile's traveled today:
Driven By Sal: 469.1
Driven By BB: 175.6
Total for day: 644.7
Total Trip: 3,342.3

Trees are back! They started showing up again in Alberta. It's nice to see them again.
