Today started in Watson Lake, Yukon and ended in Haines Junction, Yukon.
Highlights
Mid morning we stopped at a rest area to stretch and read informational signs that told about the region's geology. A RV pulled in behind us and a man got out and joined us at the signs. He asked if we were from Virginia. Found out he was former military and had been stationed at a base in Tidewater and stayed several years after in the state. He is now 73 years old and been a permanent RVer for 3 years. He travels in the summer months and then heads to Texas for the winter. Makes me think about getting an RV....
